nyaya sutra and the various Nyayaikaz.

The Nyaya philosophers, that's apparently a word, the Nyayaikaz.

But I think we had just concluded at the end of the last discussion that there are no

secondary qualities in this view that the taste, the color, all these things are actually in the object,

and if you don't get it, because you have John Dis and you see everything is yellow or whatever,

the normal Western philosophical examples, you're just misperceceiving it's not that you have a different equally valid in your head

Perception it's just not a perception at all at least of that property. Yeah, I mean, you can say the equivalent articulation

in our so-called tradition would be

under normal circumstances or given normal conditions. And that's essentially what is assumed.

But I do think it's interesting that they have the special case or they're calling out a special case for sound and sort of neglect to even mention the other

senses. I've always thought that the site has been sort of over-inflated in the philosophical tradition of the West as a sense and that the others have been somewhat denigrated.

But I don't know what it would mean.

Like if we couldn't use metaphors based on site how would we

even talk about philosophy like what if you just had to recast the history of

Western philosophy using the sense of smell.

You'd have a really hard time.

Yeah, sorry to talk about formality with smell and structure.

And direction, distance, canine philosophy.
