0:21.3	either a perfumer or somebody involved with fragrance, it's always my favorite interviews. It's
0:26.1	I get in my happy place and Mona puts me in my happy place too. Mona Katana is the founder of
0:30.8	Coyali fragrances and a co-founder of Hudda Beauty. She's an Iraqi-American entrepreneur currently
0:36.0	based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and she started her career in investment banking.
0:40.6	It's funny. We had on Sarah Gibson Tuttle last week and she also was like a banker before moving
0:45.1	into beauty. Mona then worked in PR and went on to Onus Lawn before she helped launch
0:50.9	Hudda Beauty and then of course her fragrance brand. I met her years ago. We hit it off because
0:55.5	we joked when we met that we were long lost cousins, just a little family resemblance but also
1:00.1	a love of fragrance. And actually, she told me at the end of this interview that she does have
1:04.2	some Iranian ancestors. So we might be long lost cousins which I kind of love. But the reason Jess
1:09.5	and I wanted to have her honest because she's in a fragrance obsessive just like us. We're going
1:13.9	to talk about perfume, her impressive fragrance collection. She revealed to us that she's on a quest
1:19.2	to break the world's record for largest perfume collection. Good luck with that Mona. And she shares
