Laura, why don't you kick us off and tell us what in the world you've been up to?

What haven't I been up to this week is the real question.

Ooh, busy week, eh?

Well, our listeners are going to have a little whiplash because they're in the future.

They're probably almost to Thanksgiving at this point.

But we are going to be talking about Halloween because in our present time, we just

went through the wonderful and hectic time that is known as Halloween with small children.

Oh, yes, I want to hear about your Halloween because we did not spend it together. So I want to

know how everything went down in your family. Yes. Okay. So I will say that actual Halloween was great. We went out to

trigger treat. It was very fun. There was no drama for the most part. The Halloween celebrations

were fun. But for me, I had this extra complication this year that I feel like really was just like a

perfect example, sort of a very heightened example of the challenges that come

with being a working mom. And that is that my book deadline was November 1st.

Okay. Whoever said that deadline is clearly not apparent because that is so uncool.
