You mean we're lucky to be white?

It's not luck, it's privilege.

We're privileged that people see us, not a color.

Privilege that we don't get stared at when we walk into the room.

Privilege that we don't get followed by security when we go shopping. Or pulled over when we're in the room. Privilege that we don't get followed by security when we go shopping or pulled over when we're in the wrong neighborhood.

We're privileged because society was set up for us and our silence keeps it in place.

We're privileged and that's unfair.

You unbelievably fragile human beings you.

So there's been a lot of talk over the past week about

DEI, and that is diversity, equity, and inclusion.

For those that have been following my show for a few years, you already know what that is.

It is encompassed within the ESG framework, which is an environmental, social, and governments, but

DEI, ESG is kind of the corporate version of it.

DEI is really the academia and corporate America has adopted it to a lesser extent but it is becoming quite pervasive.

And the reason that this entire topic came to the floor

was there's been a lot of concern over

DEI hiring practices when it comes to safety.

We've seen a lot, a huge uptick in in flight issues of late and you also see coinciding with that you will see a lot of

advertisements and you know kind of bragodosious declarations about how we have the first all female flight crew or we have the most diverse
