Mascarra, a beauty podcast. I'm Jen. Jess is not here. If you were listening on

Tuesday, I let you know we were taking a quick summer break. So we're doing some

replay interviews. And actually, as I'm recording this intro without her, it is

the eve. The reason one of the reasons we're taking time off is it's the eve of

Jess is getting some sinus surgery, actually. And now that I'm saying that out loud, I'm like,

is everyone I think that's a euphemism for plastic surgery? It is not, it's not like the

deviated septum, no job business. She's been getting sick a lot and they finally figured out

what was going on is a problem with her sinuses. I'm sure she'll tell you about it when she's

back in the studio or the virtual studio next week. So that's why you're getting a replay

episode here. Also, I wanted to do a little administrative work with you all. Two things I wanted

to let you know about when we are back to our regularly scheduled programming, it will be slightly

different. We are going to be dropping our deep dive interview episodes on Fridays instead of

Thursdays. So you're still going to get two episodes every week. Tuesday would be Jess and I

chatting about the beauty news, sharing our favorite products, discussing beauty, trends, etc.

And then now on Fridays, we'll be giving you an interview with a beauty expert celebrity,

a hairstylist, a perfumer, somebody who we think is fascinating in the beauty business. So we're

doing that kind of, the main reason I wanted to do it is because every time the Tuesday episode

would come out, I'd start interacting with all of you on the Facebook group and on DMs and we'd

be talking about things that came up in the show. And I wanted to keep doing that on social media

and then all of a sudden, like a day later, it'd be time to do the interview and we were moving on

so quickly. So we wanted to put a little bit of space between the two episodes. And also,
