Orpa, one of the daughters, loves Naomi, but goes back to her town, goes back to Moab.

Ruth loves her mother-in-law and says, I'm not going back, I'm staying with you.

This is like the end of the biblical narrative that really know about it for Orpa.

Now, the Jewish folklore now spins out from this moment.

So the Jewish folklore starts to suggest that what ends up happening is Orpah, when she

is seriously grieved, she's in turmoil of this decision. She ends up making the decision to go back

home, but she goes and she kisses her mother-in-law. And when she kisses her mother-in-law, she cries four tears. Four tears. And in those four

tears, Orpa is, I don't know if the right language is blessed. She's gifted. She's given.

This is where all the stuff kind of goes sideways with the Genesis 6 and like how this all comes about.

But basically, she has as a gift, she is given four children. These four children are in fact

descendants of the Nephilim. They are giants. And Orpa becomes the mother of Goliath in the narrative structure, in the narrative story.

Now, like, you look at a passage like Joshua 11, 20 through 22.

You know, Joshua is going into the Anakim hill country to Hebra and DeBir, all these other places.

And the text says, no Anakim were left in the land of the Israelites, except for some remaining in Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod. Well, where is Goliath from? Goliath and his brothers are from Gath.

I think, theologically, it presents a wild story. Like a wild story. Because if you think about it,
