Beginning the 1960s to the early 70s in Northern California, a series of grizzly murders would take place that shocked the nation. Beyond the killings, a collection of cryptic letters with hidden messages were passed to the press in an effort to taunt the public. The case would become one of America’s most menacing unsolved mysteries of the 20th century. The unknown author of those letters, and presumed killer, came to be known world wide as “The Zodiac Killer”. Despite a massive investigation and countless suspects, the Zodiac was never caught and his true identity remains something to be discovered even to this day.
