I thought about doing a bunch of different stuff for, you know, Christmas special.

You think maybe you do Dickens, Christmas Carol, or I want to call life for some great piece of, you know, Western culture or even pop culture from the

many, many centuries of history of celebrating Christmas. And we probably will get to each of those things, you know, I'm sure we'll do other Christmas episodes in the future that will be

focused on some of that other stuff. But you know what? This is a show that is about the good stuff, right?

This is about the heart of the Western tradition and really

grasping and understanding the core of that tradition and of what has been most meaningful to most people in it over the course of history.

And so you know what? We're just going to mainline Christmas. We're just going to go right to the biblical story of Christ's

This is actually the first time we've really done the New Testament in any way. We did the Old Testament way back at the beginning of the show, because I am particularly passionate about the book of Isaiah, the prophecy of Isaiah.

So we've done a little bit on the Old Testament of the Bible, but we need to kind of get ourselves oriented to the New Testament, not just as a work of scripture.

I think a lot of people watching our Christians and treat this as a holy book, but not everybody, certainly, I know.

And so we're not just talking about this book as a holy book, but as a Titanic work of Western literature, as an important and central book.
