We also take a look at what’s happened in the Lions GM search so far this week as well as evaluate the process so far. Tennessee Titans Tough to Stop One of the keys for the Lions against the Tennessee Titans is going to be their ability to score against the Titans defense. The Lions have  a big question mark surrounding the health of Matthew Stafford, and he will be needed if the Lions have any hope against the Tennessee Titans. The good news is that the Tennessee titans run a very similar offense to what the Lions have for the last few years, so they have some experience in how to exploit it. That being said, the Titans offense and Derrick Henry is likely to run all over the Lions defense. We have the injury report, Las Vegas line, predictions and more preparing you for this game. Detroit Lions Podcast Talks GM Candidates We spend some time discussing the Lions GM search, and the process around it. The Lions have set themselves up much different than they did last time. In 2020 they are ensuring that they take the organization and its culture into the process, which is something they missed last time by outsourcing the work to the NFL’s suggested search “guru.” This is something that has been undersold for a long time, and the importance of culture, as well as its nuance are important considerations when making outside hires. It’s possible to foster a winning culture while still working within the organization’s mores.
