Well, I just wanted a little trip, so I got to read a bunch of interesting books.

But I'm going to talk about a book that we discussed on the show.

They came out in 2020 in our Dark Academia show.

I read A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik.

Oh.

Really? I don't think I've read any other Naomi Novik book.

Well, she writes like high fantasy, and that's not really your thing.

Well, she does retellings, you know.

Oh, right now, she also does spinning silver.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, and I've picked it up, but I've never read them.

Why can't I remember roots?
