Atwood and today we have a very special holiday themed advice episode. Yeah, so we were blown away by how many questions you guys asked over on Instagram. Oh my god

It was crazy and less than 24 hours so many people had questions and there were a lot of themes which I always think is really interesting when people are thinking the same thing. Yeah, exactly. So it's about to get really festive over here. Yeah, but in the meantime, let's talk about our weeks. Yeah, Grace tell me you're high. Okay, my high

was all of the entertaining in my apartment. So for my blog, I had a lot of holiday related sponsored content. So to create that, I had a big friends giving dinner party on Friday night and then on Sunday, I had a bunch of my girlfriends over for a boozy white wine brunch. So both of those were so much fun. It was a lot of work, but I love having friends over when I moved into this apartment. One of the reasons that I like designed it the way I did was

so that I could have like dinner parties and like have lots of friends over because I lived in such a small studio before that it was really hard to have parties and to entertain and now I can. But you still used to entertain. I remember in your old studio apartment. You still used to have people over for like branches and like hotels. I would have like little coffee table parties. I called them. Yeah, I used to joke that I was going to write a book about how to entertain at your coffee table. Maybe a very niche book.

But I think it would be very applicable in your city. Yeah, I think so too. So maybe I'll still do that someday. But now I have a big apartment. So it's more fun. Yes. Well, I came on Friday to your friends giving dinner and it was really, really fun and delicious. Oh, the food was so good.

Actually, I think I flipped the switch for me and making me feel in the holiday spirit. Because when you first invited me. I was kind of early.

It was just Halloween. Like I'm not ready for Thanksgiving yet. Yeah. And I was like somebody was asking me, they're like, what are you doing this weekend? I was like, oh, I'm going to this friends giving dinner on Friday night.

And they were like, oh, that's weird. And I was like, yeah, I know. But then I afterwards I'm like, oh, yeah, now I feel foolish. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it was it had to be early because now the post will go up next week. And that's when everyone else is starting to think about when they're going to entertain. What a trend set for you are.

I know such a trend setter. Friends giving. It's a brand new concept.

What about you, Becca? So my high is that this weekend, I have two and maybe three friends coming to visit. Are they all staying with you? Two of them are, but one of them is not. Okay. So we're all crowding into my one bedroom apartment.

But I'm really excited. It's two of my best friends. And I saw this meme on social media the other day, which I actually laughed out loud at. And it was like.

In your 20s, 15 people could show up at your door unannounced at any time, but in your 30s, it takes two months of planning to like, oh, I saw that one. That made me laugh too.

And I was like, that's so true. So I've been planning my friend Kyle used to live in LA and he moved back to Boston.

Like a year and a half ago. And we've been trying to plan a trip for him to come down to New York for so long. Oh, wow.

And I've seen him a bunch because every time I go to Boston, I see him, but we haven't found a weekend to do New York. And so he's coming down. And then my friend Elizabeth is coming to and maybe now my friend Peter is going to come. So I'm very excited.

I'm just like excited for friend time in the city. Yeah, like having people visit me. Yeah, it's the best. And then I have a friend visiting this weekend too when my best friends from Boston.

And then the next week my friend Rachel is here and we have a very intense holiday itinerary where we want to watch as many of the new Netflix holiday movies as possible.

Oh, that sounds so fun. I know I'm really excited. Yeah, I want to do that. Well, you can come over and you can watch some of this. I will. Absolutely. I really, I don't really care about most of them, but I do want to see the Christmas Prince sequel.

There's a sequel is out. I don't know if it's out. Yeah, but it's definitely out when she's here. I didn't know they were making a sequel to it. I'm so excited. I think it's like a Christmas wedding or something. Oh my God, that movie was like so awful and so amazing.

But it's really heartwarming. Like it's just like it's what I wanted it to be. Did you see that Netflix thing last year where like somebody watched it like 200 times or something and Netflix called them out on social media.

Yes, and they got all this backlash and it turned out it was just a joke, but like people who are seriously concerned about their privacy with Netflix. I was like, guys, just take a joke. Netflix was just being funny. Also, if that person really did watch a Christmas Prince like 54 times, like that would be upsetting. Yeah, like I think that was like, who hurt you? Yeah.
