The first Bria. What are you reading?

I am reading. Okay, so we got during the drive, someone said, I love books that are

like interactive and you know what I'm talking about? Like they said, they were like,

it's like non-traditional biographies or something and they're like, you know, like

Star Child, the Octavia Butler biography book. And I was like, I don't know. This came out last

year and I was like, but I'm going to order. I saw this on your kitchen table. I was going to ask

you how it was. So I've been reading it. This is my morning book right now. It's really cool.

It is called Star Child Biographical Constellation of Octavia style Butler by E.B. Zaboi. Okay,

so it came out last year. It is about the young life of Octavia Butler. Everyone knows that I

love Octavia Butler if you listen to this show. It both tells the story of her life. But then like

every few pages, there's like a poem about her life that E.B. Zaboi wrote. And it's all about

the time period. So there's one like about the civil rights movement because she was born around

that time. And then also like her her experiences like that, there's just a poem about how she loved

animals and stuff. And so it's like, it's just about her and poetry based on her life.

It is a really interesting kind of biography. And I've never really seen anything like this before.

So when someone asked for this, I was like, what is that? Yeah. And I think I can't remember
