Tonight I'm going to do something I haven't done before and that is talk a little bit about fatherhood.

And you might be saying, Clint, you don't have kids?

Why the hell would you be talking about fatherhood? and you might be saying, Clint, you don't have kids?

Why the hell would you be talking about fatherhood?

Because I think it's probably the most important thing in my life,

despite the fact that I am not one.

And that's not to downplay the value and the role of my mom but I think what

inspired me to to take on this this issue is that I've seen a real lack of direction amongst the young men that I know of.

And I don't know many. So know this is anecdotal I guess but I think it is a broader trend based off of some statistics that I have seen in terms of lack of employment, lack of creating families, lack of getting married.

Maybe I'm a product of it to a certain extent,

but there's a real rudderless aspect to the young men in America. And this is kind of a global phenomenon too, if I'm being honest, but I'm only going to speak to the American phenomenon because I think it's... to be
