Summary

On 28 May 2018, Laura Mortimer and her 11-year-old daughter, Ella Dalby were found in a pool of blood at their house in Gloucester. Laura had 18 separate stab wounds, whilst Ella had 24. Laura clearly fought for her life and Ella witnessed some of the attack and bravely came to the help of her mother. Christopher Boon, a man with a history of violence, was arrested for their murders. In this exclusives episode Laura is joined by Jodie Edith, Laura’s sister and Ella’s aunt, to speak out for the first time about events leading up to the horrific double murders. Together they identify the red flags, early warning signs and how women can be helped by family and friends who know what to look for. Laura also begins unravelling the murder of 21-year-old Libby Squire, Lisa’s daughter, who disappeared following a night out with friends on 31 January 2019 in Kingston upon Hull in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
