Hey, everyone. It's Jen. Welcome to Fatma Scara. It's our Thursday interview episode.

Jess will be joining me shortly because we have an amazing interview with Dr. Orit Markowitz. So

she's a dermatologist, skin cancer specialist and CEO and founder of Optiskin. She served as the

director of pigmented lesions and skin cancer at Mount Sinai and Brooklyn Veterans Hospital and

Downstate University Medical Center. She's also been an associate professor of dermatology.

But the reason we wanted to have her on the podcast is because if you happen to keep up to date

on research and dermatology journals, you know, like I do, you would notice that her name is on

so many papers and studies looking into new non-invasive ways to detect and treat skin cancers.

So she's going to teach us about the cutting edge techniques that are now available,

many of which she helped to pioneer and pioneered herself.
