I know, the holidays are, they're the holidays. I mean it's so easy to

get wrapped up in the stress of the holidays, whatever that stress looks like to you.

that makes it a lot harder.

Okay, I mean, they're great, they have their perks and they're also hella weird, hella weird.

And I'm not talking about my own family right now, but isn't it funny how like your family dynamics are suddenly on steroids during the holidays like if you have one of those families that

Doesn't talk about their problems and pretends like everything is fine then it's like everyone is extra fine

God damn it during Christmas, you know, because that's comfortable for a lot of us.

You know, something is familiar, and it's comfortable, and we like it, and we tend to stick with that.

And that means brushing your major issues under a rug and not talking about them is comfortable, then yeah, it's likely you're going to keep sticking with that. But comfortable doesn't always mean good. It's just what you're used to. For instance, if you are

listening to the radio in your car and there are six preset stations and five of

them are playing songs you've never heard and one of them is playing a song that you know, but you don't like.
