We're talking today to Bert Folsom, the historian who is joining us for a third time on this show, to talk about his book, FDR Goes to War, How Expanded Executive Power, Spirling National Debt, and Restricted Civil and restricted civil liberties shaped wartime America.

Bert Folsom is a professor of history who holds the Charles F. Klein chair in history and management at Hillsdale College.

He's the author of numerous books, including The Myth of the Robber Barons, a new look at the rise of big business in America.

We've talked to him about his book, New Deal or Raw Deal, on the domestic side of the Franklin Roosevelt legacy,

and his book, Uncle Sam, can't Count, about the failure of government investments.
