episode number 27. And today we're going to talk about the binging and fogging and fogging of the emotion guilt. And why if you've been eating your guilt for the last 20 to 30

years and now you're going through menopause, well, for you, you probably think it's

harder than ever to lose weight, but really, it's harder than ever to lose the guilt.

I'm using the emotion of guilt today because next to anger, it's the most common emotion that many women face due to our culture and our upbringing.

Now, what I want you to remember about guilt is that guilt is an emotion and the emotions

always come from what you think. It never comes from a situation or a circumstance,

even though sometimes we believe that it does. And if you don't understand exactly what I'm

end of this podcast, the difference between a situation and a thought. But my guess is,

for those of you who suffer from too much guilt, your brain is just trained to think the same

thoughts over and over and over again. And I can't think of a better time

to retrain that brain of yours than during menopause. Because if you don't, you might have

noticed that by now that those feelings, they just get stronger. And if you're used to eating strong negative

emotions through either fogging or binging, well, you might notice that you're gaining more weight

and you're blaming it on hormones and menopause instead of taking responsibility for your feelings.
