| 0:00.0 | Welcome to Fearless with Jason Whitlock. I am Jason Whitlock your host. Happy Thursday to you and yours. |
| 0:24.8 | The weekend is almost here. I'm headed to Kansas City for a very special event. Looking forward to that. So I'm going to have a great weekend. I hope you do as well. This is a special edition of Fearless with Jason Whitlock. We're going to bring in our regular Fearless soldier Royce White. He ran for a political office in the fifth congressional district of Minnesota for the Republican primary. |
| 0:54.6 | He finished second to a woman I believe Sicily Davis. Ihan Omar won on the Democratic side in a very narrow victory. But I want to talk with Royce about his first foray into the political arena. What he learned from it. What he'll take from it. And what's next. |
| 1:16.2 | There was a hit piece put out on Royce by the magazine Mother Jones two or three days before election day or maybe it was late last week. I can't remember. |
| 1:29.0 | And I wanted to talk with Royce about that because even though Royce did not win the Republican primary. I think the number of hit pieces I saw on Royce White. |
| 1:42.1 | Let's me know he's a dangerous man to the establishment. If he was not dangerous. They wouldn't be having these hit pieces published about him. And so I don't think we've heard the last of Royce White in the political sphere. |
| 1:59.7 | The Democrats and the establishment and the Republican establishment can see that Royce represents something potentially dangerous. And that's why these hit pieces have been written. And so Royce White welcome back to the show. |
| 2:16.3 | And I just want to take some time and learn from you what you learned. And then I want to talk a little bit about this piece and what's next for Royce White. So first off. |
| 2:31.9 | How was it? What did you learn running for the fifth congressional seat in Minnesota? |
| 2:40.3 | First of all, there's a lot of components that go into running the campaign that you just couldn't know without running the campaign. It's just like any other profession or any other endeavor. |
| 2:50.7 | So I learned a great deal just about personnel about the different aspects of of a campaign, whether it be ground game, whether it be advertising, whether it be billboards and so on and so forth. |
| 3:01.3 | From a bigger cultural standpoint, I guess we in Minnesota are exactly where I believed we were, where I had a hunch we were. But I definitely wanted to test it out. |
| 3:13.9 | I definitely wanted to see for myself and jump in regardless. And I was defeated yesterday by the uniparty. And that's just the God's honest truth. |
| 3:24.3 | The uniparty prevailed. And it's a failure of urgency from the American people, especially the conservative movement. |
| 3:36.3 | I look at the vote results and totals. And you had a hundred thousand Democrat voters turn out in CD5 and only 10,000 in our Republican primary. |
| 3:50.3 | So that's alarming to begin with, especially given the circumstance of our country right now. |
| 3:58.3 | But set aside the 1500 votes that kind of came out of the blue to this phantom candidate, Guy Gaskin, who nobody had ever heard of before tomorrow, |
| 4:09.3 | who actually ended up getting 15% of the vote, 1500, which would have given me a win had I gotten a substantial chunk of those votes by a lost by 500 votes swing. |
| 4:21.3 | But that aside, I know personally from being in the district that there are at least 500 to 1,000, let's say, primary Republican voters that are Democrat light and are pro abortion. |
| 4:38.3 | And I could have easily gone door to door and smiled in their face and affirmed baby killing. And maybe I would have gotten another 500 votes. |
| 4:46.3 | But that's just not my style. And I'm not willing to do that. And I think what I learned most is that the people who are going to try and step up into the political arena have to make a very, very tough decision about upholding the morals and values in their pursuit of success. |
| 5:05.3 | You hit on initially one of the things I wanted to ask you about is what to make of the fact that 100,000 people turned out on the Democratic side and only 10,000 is that an indication that the Republicans just feel like the Democrats are unbeatable in that district. And so why bother? |
