0:39.9	U.S. by the way, the same is true in Canada and the UK from what I understand Australia as well
0:45.1	and just in general I would not be surprised if this was a universal rule and with that
0:49.7	being said as someone who is on the right politics is one of the many reasons why I don't really
0:55.3	like living in cities. Taxes tend to be higher and regulations even around things like going
1:02.1	grocery shopping or taking out the trash tend to be stricter
1:06.1	than they are in the suburbs or country. And you know it is those types of things things,
1:10.3	things like taxes and regulations that historically people used to talk about when
1:16.0	referring to left or right leaning areas. But nowadays in 2020, the term left-wing city has taken on an entirely new meaning.
1:25.8	Nowadays, some cities are actually so far left that it's not just about them being
1:31.4	Democrats or liberals. They are actually a self-described autonomous
1:37.2	anarcho-communist zones. I am not kidding. Over the summer we saw the rise and fall of the very short-lived chaz or chop, whatever you want to call it in Seattle.
1:47.5	But not to be outdone in the contest to see who is the most crazy leftist city, Portland now apparently also has their own equivalent.
