Hey guys, welcome to Relatable. Happy Friday. So I am so excited about the conversation

0:15.6

that we are having today with Dr. Albert Moller. He is a podcast host of a podcast that

0:22.8

I have listened to for years now called the briefing. He is also the president of Southern

0:28.6

seminary and he has been in the Southern Baptist Convention for a very long time, very

0:33.9

influential in Christian thinking on culture and politics. And so this is going to be a

0:39.8

great little break from the very intense episode that we had on Wednesday. This will also

0:44.4

be a very engaging and insightful episode for you. But we're going to take a break from

0:49.3

some of the very controversial and intense things that we talked about on Wednesday.

0:52.8

Talk about some other very important things today about how Christians confront the moral

0:58.6

revolution that has been going on, how we disciple our children, how we should think

1:02.6

about voting in November in all of the very pressing issues that Christians are feeling

1:26.8

have to give up your Saturday for, but the SAT and the ACT are actually the two most powerful

1:32.2

forces driving curriculum in the United States today. And the sad part about that is that

1:38.4

they are typically left wing. The college board, which owns the SAT is a far left organization.

1:45.4

Last year, the college board had students reading Bernie Sanders's op-eds. So they've

1:49.6

gotten agenda, they affect public school curriculum, they affect all school curriculum,

1:55.6

and the CLT is a great alternative to that. It has been adopted by more than four or 200

2:02.3

colleges and nearly every college will now consider CLT scores at least a supplemental

2:07.6

component of an application. The CLT is shorter than the SAT and ACT. Students can now take
