Summary

Part 2 of this series brings us to the unmasking of the Baseline Killer, a man who terrorized Phoenix for over a year. His name was Mark Goudeau. A father. A husband. A hardworking member of the community. But beneath it all, he was the monster stalking the streets. 0:24.0	we discussed three serial killers
0:26.6	who were operating in Phoenix, Arizona,
0:28.8	at the same time in 2005.
0:31.5	First, there were the serial shooters,
0:34.0	Dale Hausner and Sam Dietman,
0:36.3	two men who would smoke meth together and then drive around town shooting at random.
0:41.3	By the end of 2005, they had killed dozens of animals and murdered a total of six people,
0:48.3	but they weren't the only ones terrorizing the streets of Phoenix. While Dale and Sam were committing their drive-by shootings,
0:55.8	another predator was on the loose named Mark Goudot. Mark started the summer of 2005,
1:02.3	raping women and children around Baseline Road, which is how he earned the name, the baseline rapist.
1:08.6	However, he soon escalated to murder, earning him the new name, the
1:13.3	baseline killer. But by the time 2005 came to an end, authorities didn't even realize
1:19.5	they had three serial killers operating in their city. And sadly, 2006 would bring even more
1:27.1	bloodshed.
