Guys, today I am celebrating a milestone.

Today is two years since I quit drinking alcohol.

This podcast will air next week, but I wanted to record this while I am just buzzing from

sheer joy that fills up my entire body. Yesterday I went out and I celebrated with my man friend and another close friend of mine

after I colored my hair, pink, blue, and green.

I look like a My Little Pony, and I love it new year new hair I'm feeling more like myself with pink hair than I've felt in probably 10 years and

since I've been self-employed for the last six years, I don't have to worry about looking like, you know, air quote, responsible adult.

So I do what I want.

You know, my sober birthday, it feels better than my actual birthday.

In fact last May when my actual birthday happened I just wasn't that into it and

that's because I know how good a sober birthday feels because you have to work hard for those.

You know, you just, you don't just like wake up and have one.

So today is a very special day for me and I just want to sit in these feelings and celebrate my hard work and then I'll go back to regular life tomorrow.

You know, last night as I was driving home, I had a realization that, you know, I'll probably feel like this pretty pink cloud for a couple of weeks and then life will go back to the routine and I'll kind of come down and then something good will happen and then something will get stressful and you know like my point being that life just
