Welcome back, everyone, to another bonus edition of the DCL duo. And as with past bonus editions,

here recently, we've been talking to folks who have spent some time down at the resorts during

COVID period and after the resorts have opened. Tonight, we have a guest on who actually

was able to spend some time at Disney World and Hilton Head. We'll get into both.

But at Disney World, after the parks had reopened. And so we haven't had anyone talked to us yet about sort of the parks apart from the hotels. And so I wanted to have Janelle on. Welcome, Janelle. Thank you for having me. No, thank you for being here. This is great. Why don't we dive right in? I know you started your trip by

heading over to Hilton Head, I think, on the 5th of July. Why don't we start there? What was it like

over at the Hilton Head Resort? Hilton Head is great. This is our second time staying at the Disney

property at Hilton Head, and we really, really enjoyed everything. We had a two-bedroom villa

that overlooked the marsh, and it was exactly like going home to Disney Paradise when we

checked in. It was just great. Check-in was a little different there because they don't have the

My Disney Experience app, so they just requested that one person go up to the lobby to check in rather

than your whole party. They did require

mask on property everywhere and they did enforce it. Even if you were walking, we saw a couple

walking ahead of us far away and there was no one around and a cast member walked by and she asked

them to pull their mask up. So they were definitely enforcing everything there. And did you see,

I mean, we've heard about some of the lobbies. They had plexiglass up and that kind of stuff.

Is it the similar at the headman? Yeah, they had plexiglass up there. And a few things had changed in the

lobby. That's where they had a storyteller. We show up, his name's blue with the shadow, the dog.

And so, you know, the resort offerings were definitely trimmed back. And I could notice that just because we've been there before. But I don't know if you, if this was your first time, I don't know if you would really notice. What were some of the resort offerings that were that were trimmed back? Like what, what things were missing? Yeah, like every Tuesday, they have star spangled Tuesday,
