I was not half an hour from the New Hampshire border growing up in North End over Massachusetts.

And we would, on Sundays, drive over that border to get things we needed if we couldn't get them

at home. But I guess it wasn't really the Sunday thing so much as it was the sales tax.

There was no sales tax in New Hampshire and we had one. And back then it was a mere 5%.
