Jazzer, how did your team do in the general election?

Oh, you mean the, the spoiled my ballot team?

Yeah, yeah, that's the one, yeah.

Yeah, I think we did really well.

We got about our target seats, actually actually um which considering the night for the

smp and uh conservatives especially uh it's a pretty good night for us um so i'm really looking

forward to consolidating our vote in this parliament um and then moving forward maybe becoming

the official opposition

for 2029.

I mean, it could happen, particularly with election turnout being slow this time round.

Isn't that depressing?

And that's the depressing thing about this election.

I guess, yeah, if you tally up the, because obviously, you know, you were pretending

that a small ballot is noted by the electoral authorities.

But really, you might as well not have turned up, which I didn't, to be fair.

I was still in New York where I live and did get somebody else to mail my ballot for me.

I'm glad we've got in that reference so quickly in this podcast.

But turnout was at 60%.

So I guess you can claim that you got 40% of the vote, sort of.
