Summary

In this episode, the entire Burn It All Down squad reunites for a fall sports round-up spectacular! At the top of the show, Amira Rose Davis, Brenda Elsey, Shireen Ahmed, Lindsay Gibbs and Jessica Luther first share what they want to carve into a festive pumpkin. Then, they parse through the beautiful chaos that is fall sports and offer their insight and commentary on women's college soccer, women's college volleyball, men's college football, global football/soccer, hockey, baseball and the WNBA playoffs. After the round-table, you'll hear Amira tease the interview of the week, a round-table discussion about the NBA and vaccines. Then, the team burns all that needs to be burned in sports on the Burn Pile. 0:18.1	We are ringing in fall. And happy October by reuniting all five of us back
0:24.9	together on the pod for the first time in, I don't know, months. So we're all in today. That's Jessica,
0:31.9	Shereen, Lindsay, and Brenda. And we're here to do a fall festival roundup reunion roundtable. That's right. We are in the
0:41.5	time of year in which there are so many sporting things going on, not to mention off the court
0:48.0	drama and issues. And it's just a lot to wade through for us. And like are people who like like our jobs are to pay attention
0:56.2	to this. So what we're going to do today is we're going to just do a quick roundup and updates
1:01.8	from leagues, ask each other some questions like what in the world is happening over in the
1:07.7	WNBA playoffs. What's going on in global football? And so hopefully when you leave

1:30.1	over pumpkin spice with Shereen, I'm not going to ask about favorite or least favorite
1:36.5	fall things. Instead, I'm going to say that I go every year and get one of those carving
1:42.3	kits for pumpkins and I make witches and I'm very impressed with myself.
