Now, my prayer is that our time together each week encourages you, awakens you to the

purposes of God in your life and activates you to follow Jesus wholeheartedly as you live

on mission for him.

Hey everyone, I am so grateful that you have joined us today.

I don't believe that you've tuned into this program by accident.

I believe that you are here in the will of God by the purpose of God and that God is

going to speak a word to you today that's going to bring freedom, life and liberty into

your life.

And we're reading from the epistle to the Philippians, Paul wrote to the Philippian church.

No, you've got to remember, we're picking up where Paul was in a Roman prison.

So Paul didn't know whether he was going to live or die.

Paul didn't know whether he was going to be executed or released from prison.

So I would say if I was in a prison cell and I did not know whether I was going to live

or die, I was going to be feeling really stressed.

I would be feeling extremely anxious.

Paul had gone through a number of beatings and shipwrecks and being chased out of towns

and he had been betrayed and he had just undergone so much persecution.

He's now in prison and then he pens this epistle to the Philippian church and he loves

the Philippian church and I love Philippi.
