I'm Gretchen Rubin, a writer who studies happiness, good habit, and I'm not a bad person,

hoping this good habits, outer order, and human nature.

I'm in New York City usually, but today I have the luxury of being in the LA studio with

my sister Elizabeth Kraft.

So Gretchen, you have been touring all over the US with your new book, Outer Order, Intercom,

how has it been?

Oh, it's been so fun.

I love it and I really enjoyed the Q&A period because it's interesting to hear what people

bring up.

Like a lot of people are bringing up the difficulty of dealing with items that are kind of inheriting

either because someone has actually died or because someone's downsizing or just things

coming into your possession, things that have family meaning or we're important to somebody

but not really important to you and how people are dealing with that.

That's a big theme.

So that's interesting, that can be its own book.
