My eight-year-old daughter, Lucy.

in love with reading.

A comment I get all the time is that my kids, or myself, are probably never at a loss for

good books to read.

I hope you find it comforting to hear that that is not the case.

We have seasons of plenty, but we sure have our dry spells too.

It takes a long time to get a feel for what you like and what you don't, and talking through

it with the fellow reader is often the best way to push through.
