All right, my guest today on the podcast is Pastor Jason Kim.

He's a senior pastor of LeHabra Christian Church down here in Southern California.

And today we're going to be talking about the new apostolic reformation.

So Pastor Jason, thanks so much for jumping on the podcast here and agreeing to have this

discussion.

All right.

So, a lot of people aren't familiar with this terminology of new apostolic reformation.

So let me do a little bit of a brief overview.

So this is a term that was coined by, I believe by C. Peter Wagner, who was a professor of

church growth at Fuller Seminary.

And he, you know, my basic understanding is he saw certain leaders in the body of Christ

that had similar characteristics.

And he made an argument that essentially these are modern day apostles.

And so he put a bunch of people in this type of group.

And I think the idea was more of an academic exercise in terms of trying to identify the

characteristics of apostles and stuff like that.

And so to be honest, I was not familiar with this term until, I don't know, four or five

years ago or something like that.

And I was like, okay, who are these new apostolic reformation people?
