Hello and welcome to episode 199 of what most people think. I hope you are. I hope you

have a good week. I certainly have been on much better week. The last podcast that went

up, episode 199. Shortly after recording that, I was struck down with food poisoning. You

always struck down with food poisoning. I struck down with food. I must have finished

the podcast and about an hour later, a couple of people have already suggested having

listened back to the podcast. I wasn't quite right then. Could be that. Could have just

been that. It wasn't being very funny. I was in a cab on the way over to do my work in

progress gig in Stockport and I had to say to the minicab driver, can you put it over

please mate. It's on a fucking motorway. He looked to me like I was mental and then he

saw my face and he was, oh my god, what a scene. I'm just so glad. I won't, like, you

know, I won't burden you with the details, but I was, I was not in good shape by the side

of the road. And as I was, well, as I was, my system was purging itself. I was suddenly

struck the idea, well, if somebody recognized me and took a photo of this, it's the most

shameful thing. So I guess it goes to say, you know, you should always, if you've got

your health, you should be happy because one minute, you're crushing life, you have

no nice gig. And then the next minute, the next day, there you are by the side of the

side of the road, bent over like a fucking sick dog, like a sick dog. But thank you to

the cabbie who was so nice. I mean, it did occur to me afterwards. After I'd asked

him to pull over and there I was being unwell by the side of the road, he could have just

driven off. He's, I don't know, on this sick bastard in my cat, he could have just driven

off. And then I would have been trying to hail a truck driver and God knows what would

have happened then. And this is what most people think. And this is a show if you're joining
