Let's dive in: if you want to make those big ideas of yours happen, learning the art of following through on your big ideas is essential!

In this episode, I'm breaking things down into the basics that you need to get going and raise your hand and say yes to the big things keeping you up at night!

Your 5 Follow Through Guiding Principles:

1. Talk is cheap if it's not backed up by action.
2. Any action counts.
3. You're never going to have things completely figured out. Learn to embrace the "I don't know" and move forward anyway.
4. You know more than you realize. Go deeper.
5. It's up to you to find a force stronger than your fear.

And what to do about it:

1. Make a list of all those things you say you wanna do.
2. Star the 1-2 that feel like the most exciting.
3. Pause to consider the following: How would it feel to
a. never get around to making it happen?
b. see someone else doing it?
4. If you're still in, figure out the Start, commit to taking that step, and then DO IT.
5. Start taking really good care of yourself.

Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

0:29.1	This episode is a little bit different, mostly because I am coming to you from Colorado, which I've learned. Most people who live
0:41.8	here in Colorado, pronounce it Colorado, most non-Colorado or Colorado adjacent people,
0:50.2	call it Colorado. So I'm having to like retrain my brain. Anywho's a medoodle. For those of y'all
0:57.1	who are newer to the show or have been maybe taking a break from listening, my family
1:04.6	and I just as of last week moved ourselves to Colorado. And we are in the process of getting settled here in
1:15.7	beautiful sunny, gorgeous Fort Collins where everybody is so friendly. It's also very different.
1:25.6	I have had some trials and tribulations getting set up to record this
1:29.5	podcast, but I think that we are all set now. And I think that I am raising my hand and saying yes to
1:35.9	figuring out a different way until I have a new office space and have a new house. Actually,
1:42.9	we are currently staying with friends so it is um i'm coming to you from the midst of a transition and um that is part of what
1:55.8	i'm talking about in this week's episode which is all about the art of the follow-through. I think that one of the
2:04.5	things I see holding us back, and I say us, meaning me and you, if you're a highly creative
2:12.1	handraiser, yes, say, or kind of person is we, sometimes we can think the problem is a lack of ideas but often
2:20.6	what's really going on is a difficulty following through um so i think that this episode might
2:31.3	change some things for you at least i hope hope so. This is a solo episode,
2:36.2	as y'all know, I tend to do a solo episode for the last episode of the month. I'm probably
2:42.0	going to be switching things up in the next few months to and bringing you some more solo episodes,
