We present John Moffat as Urquil Poirot and Simon Williams as Captain Hastings in Agatha Christie's The Mysterious Affair at Stiles. It was the summer of my thing

into the land of my dreams.

It was the summer of 1916.

I had been invalided home from the front and after spending

weeks in a rather depressing convalescent hospital I was given a month sick leave. But having

no near relations in England I was rather at a loss what to do with myself. Why don't

you come and spend your sick leave with us? We'd love to have you.

And then, quite by chance, I ran across John Cavendish. I hadn't seen him for ages,

and he insisted on taking me off to his club in Palmael.
