You don't have to be an alcoholic, or call yourself an alcoholic to decide that you don't want to drink alcohol anymore

If alcohol is making your life worse and not better that's a great reason to find a way to eliminate it from your life.

The hard part is that most of us don't know at what point to call it quits because we're

uncomfortable with what that says about us. We don't want a label.

We live in a culture where alcohol and now especially binge drinking alcohol is celebrated,

encouraged, glamorized, and the act of drinking it is deeply embedded in our

brains is something that's very normal. We live in a culture where alcohol represents

sophistication and success.

And if you can drink and stop at one or two,

good for you.
