| 0:00.0 | What other benefits have we experienced? |
| 0:02.0 | Well, basically on board they'll get you whatever you want. |
| 0:05.0 | Welcome back everybody. |
| 0:18.0 | We are in our lovely one-bedroom state room, and so we wanted to talk to you a little bit about what it's like to sail concierge on board Disney Cruise Line. Full disclosure, it was our first experience in concierge. So your mileage may vary. Right. There are experts. We are not the concierge experts. There are definitely other folks who are experts. And we have had them on our show, |
| 0:41.7 | namely Chris in the concierge lounge out there has sailed concierge many, many, many times, |
| 0:45.3 | knows probably most of the concierges around the fleet. So we're going to head back into our back catalog over on the podcast channel. That's where to go find expert information. |
| 0:50.3 | And I mentioned the podcast channel here specifically because for those of you listening to this as the audio-only podcast for a bonus episode this week. We are actually video recording this in our state room. There will be some great visuals that will add into the videos. You can kind of get a sense of things. So if you're interested in getting the more visual experience, head over to our YouTube channel, YouTube.com slash DCL Duo to check out this video. | 1:41.3 | mark like platinum, but they send their requests into concierge starting at the |
| 1:44.7 | 125 day mark. And those requests are sort of honored in the order that they come in. So concierge |
| 1:49.6 | guests know a trick to queue up an email to send at like 12.01 a.m. on the 125th day out. And then |
| 1:56.5 | they send the email off to concierge. basically those requests so things like if they want adult |
| 2:01.4 | dining if they want spa treatments if they want particular dining rotation on board perhaps |
| 2:08.1 | port adventures all that sort of stuff they can send those requests in an email uh to the |
| 2:14.5 | source like concierge they load that into into Disney system at 120 days. Those requests get |
| 2:19.6 | queued through the system, you know, and then platinum gets to book, essentially. And if you are |
| 2:25.0 | going to castaway key on your itinerary, that's the way to basically be guaranteed a cabana at either |
| 2:32.3 | the family beach or Serenity Bay, the adults-only beach at Castaway Key. |
