Hey everyone, I am so grateful that you've joined us today for Week 2 in our series about

picking up a shovel and digging.

You might think, what has this got to do with the world in which we live?

You know, we've been looking at the life of Isaac.

Isaac was the son of Abraham and the father of Jacob.

And right there, we learn from the life of Isaac that it is time for us in our generation.

I've got my shovel here to pick up a shovel and start digging some of the old wells

and re-digging them so that the source of living water life itself, Jesus Christ, can

flow into a lost and a broken world.

And really, the thing that's on the table today is I'm asking a generation of us, would

we be willing to pick up our shovels and start doing some digging?

Would we be willing to get our own hands dirty so that we can see revival come to our land?

Now we've already looked at the scripture in the book of Isaiah, chapter 26.

And the fact is you think, well, what have wells that Isaac dug back in those days got

to do with our life on the earth today?

Well, of course, we're just looking at a metaphor right now.

And we're saying that this is a matter of imagery that we see in the life of Isaac.

And basically, I think here we see a picture of what Jesus Christ wants for every single
