Hey, everyone.

I am so grateful that you've joined me again today as we wrap up this amazing series on

how to navigate the storms and the shipwrecks and the challenges of life.

Don't we all feel like we have been in one huge storm?

But I know that even in the midst of the storm, in the midst of challenges that our God

is still in control, that our God is still good, that our God still has a plan and a purpose

and a destiny for your life.

We've looked at the life of Paul in the book of Acts, chapter 27.

We've seen how Paul set out from Jerusalem to Rome.

He was going to stand before the Caesar in Rome because God had given him a promise that

he was going to proclaim the gospel in Rome and from Rome, the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ

was going to spread throughout all the world and the then-known world of the time.

And so Paul was on his way.

Now, Paul may have thought he was going to get to Rome on a beautiful Mediterranean yacht

during the summer, going from one Greek island to the next, from Santorini to Naxos

to Patos to, you know, Limnos and right across, but no, no, that's not the way that he went.

He went on a ship as a prisoner.

And during that time, a huge northeasterly wind came and that wind knocked them all, of course,
