My name is Philip Kulenshov and this is 300 seconds about business.

We're all a busy people, so I have five minutes or less to get my point across.

This is the final round of us considering the facets of organizational structure. We've covered six.

Function, context, focus, objective, framework, and role.

When thinking about structuring your business's roles and allocating

responsibilities in order to enable your strategy, it's necessary to acknowledge the multifaceted

dimension that an organizational structure requires. There are different things to consider

when thinking through the roles of business requires to be performed. However, we must not forget

that the structure exists for the

business, not the business for the structure. It doesn't have to take long to consider the

different angles, especially if your business isn't that complicated. Don't make it more complicated

than it needs to be. Maybe your business is growing and entering into a more complex nature.

Maybe you need to re-evaluate the structure to make sure it'll hold up.

If so, you can use this framework as you want to help you with your consideration, but don't

get stuck on it.

Ultimately, the question you need to answer is what does your business need in order to consistently

deliver good value to your customers?

Is your business simple?

Keep it simple.
