Summary

On December 8th, 2022, Darrell Lee Clark and Cain Joshua Storey were exonerated and released from prison. As a result of the new evidence discovered during Season 1 of Proof, the Floyd County DA’s Office agreed to dismiss their convictions. In this final episode of Season 1, the Proof team was there in Rome, GA to see both men walk free. Georgia is one of 12 states that does not currently have a statutory compensation law, which would provide financial relief for people who have lost years of their lives to wrongful convictions. Josh’s attorney Luke Martin has set up a GoFundMe for Josh. You can donate at https://gofund.me/4d57c566 The Georgia Innocence Project has set up a fundraiser for Lee.
