Summary

On December 8th, 2022, Darrell Lee Clark and Cain Joshua Storey were exonerated and released from prison. As a result of the new evidence discovered during Season 1 of Proof, the Floyd County DA’s Office agreed to dismiss their convictions. In this final episode of Season 1, the Proof team was there in Rome, GA to see both men walk free. Georgia is one of 12 states that does not currently have a statutory compensation law, which would provide financial relief for people who have lost years of their lives to wrongful convictions. 0:57.6	I thought about it and I got more more pissed off, more I thought about it.
1:01.6	I said, you got a body. I'm worried about somebody giving me permission to put the truth out there about my damn life.
1:07.0	I mean Jesus Christ, I mean you've been standing over with your damn foot on my neck for 25 years.

1:17.0	I couldn't promise Lee that the podcast would help his case in any way.
