How are you doing, David Hallard? See, I have a slight hangover as well, but it's not too bad because I had a sandwich at about 11.30. I got home quite tipsy, and I had a sandwich in my fridge that I'd remembered I might be getting home tipsy today yesterday I put it in there I got home and thought I love I love past me past me he's completely right about future me see I got home to my house and I went to make a sandwich and there was only the ends the crusts of the bread and I was like damn it I hate the end of the bread but I'm starving, and then I went and opened the fridge door. There's no buttery, delicious spread in the fridge. So I had to basically use salad cream as the buttery spread. And then I was too weak to cut cheese. So I just had to pull bits of it off, like little bumps of it and put it in a sandwich. It was not very nice. Maybe it's feeling awful today yeah yeah yeah anyway listeners welcome

It was, although there was quite a bit of classic do-battering going on. I think, hang on a minute, I think, and this is things I've learned off the internet, number one,

I think the most do better thing that happened was you turned up late, very late.

Well, there was, it's a bit bad, because it's almost my second year in the road,

issues have come in with my scheduling, but I was going to be travelling down with Briggsie on Thursday because we're leading the run on Friday. But then Briggsie, sadly, was she's been really ill from Glastonbury still. I seem to be the only one. When you say it's really ill from Glastonbury, do you mean she's been on a 17 week come down or she actually got ill at Glastonbury? Well, you know, whenever you have anything that big on you physically, whether it's a race

or whether it's, you know, lack of foods, lack of sleep, booze, I think she got ill

properly, but it was part of the come down from Glastonbury, essentially.

So, yeah, my lift to love trails evaporated.

And then I was like, oh, shit, well, she thought she might be okay in the morning.

So I was like, oh, let's wait for the morning. I know there's no chance we can make it to the run. So legendary Craig the Beard stepped up and led the whole of the beer run for about 200 people. I know, I saw that and I was like, that's amazing. But we really missed a trick there. We should really have made sure that they were all wearing hashtag vests. But it looked pretty epic.

Although I was quite disappointed to see that only three people in that photo were drinking a beer. Classic love trails. Everybody else is not drinking a beer because they want to stay hydrated. Do you not know that beer hydrates you and dehydrates you at the same time, people? But yeah, it looked really good fun. it looked like it was a lot bigger this year than it was last year.
