we're always live on Team DML. I want to start off by saying to the thousands upon the

thousands of people who wished me a very happy birthday yesterday.

I was blown away.

In fact, I was not supposed to be on technology yesterday, but every two seconds a new

email was coming in and I was trying to respond to them all and I want to say

thank you for that very much.

When I decided to get into news and politics it really was more of news I didn't do it on purpose I was

a consultant in Manhattan and I was doing really really well And then 9-11 happened. And then when 9-11 happened, there was something about what I saw that changed everything for me in terms of what I wanted to do with my career and my time.

And I started making documentaries because it was the only thing I knew I can do. I was okay with the camera and it was an interesting topic of

the legal immigration. Nobody else at the time was even covering it, let alone

going down to the border. And I saw an opportunity, both from a business standpoint

and from being able to define myself

as a filmmaker, somebody who focused in on national security
