Point number one, we have not built in the new reservoirs in the last 40 years.

Point number two, we are demolishing existing dams in reservoir.

Point number three, we are allowing, even for the existing reservoirs,

we are allowing a lot of the snowpack to run into the ocean

because we don't want to turn on the pumps and pump it back to the Delta.

We don't want to pump it back into Central California.

So we're letting a lot of water go.

the first presentation of the facts that we receive. Wisdom requires us to say that's interesting,

but let's hear the other side before I

have a strong opinion. Now, we need to remember all of this as we follow the devastating fires

in California. The sad reality is California is burning, and unfortunately, some are twiddling

their thumbs, not because they don't want to do anything

about it, but because they can't do anything about it. We've all heard that there are empty

fire hydrants and empty reservoirs causing empty fire hydrants, so the things that you would

normally do to put out of fire are not presently able to be done.
