I did want to bring a case.

Well, you can't trust County.

I did want to bring a case that was kind of a heavy hitter for after the holiday season.

And this is one that I think you will probably be familiar with, actually.

It is extremely well known.

And I was curious, just for myself, before I was actually deciding, you know, whether or not I am going to tackle this.

I was like, I don't know how I'm going to like bring something new to this story.

I didn't, I never really had like an immediate reason to cover it.

I'll say that.

And it didn't feel very topical because there wasn't a lot of new information to pull from.

But considering some of the very, very recent news coverage of this and some of the updates that have come in just the last couple of weeks,

I decided that it might be high time to get into the full and complete story of the slender man stabbing,

which we've never covered. I don't think you and I have ever even

really talked about in depth. How much do you know about the story? It is very, it's complex.

I have to tell you, I really don't know much about it, but I saw on our Reddit page,

somebody posted something topical about it. And I meant to go in and look at that article, and I just didn't get around to reading it yet. But I know that something has happened recently. Yes, very recent, which was I was reading about it. And I think that's originally where I saw it. And then I saw it again on like a feed or something. And I'm like, I have to read more into like what's going on with the update. It's a lot more like a movie than I anticipated.

Like there's a lot going on right now as of November 23rd.

So I felt like it was topical and I just realized I'm like, we'd never really talked about it on

Crepe Time.

It might be a great time to do so because it is, as I said, complex.

It's disorienting and it kind of became this

like a deadly combination, I would say, of adolescence, loneliness, mental health issues,
