super excited about. Today, unfortunately, is not one of those times because I didn't plan for this to be a parenting episode per se.

However, it could very much be viewed as one, since I know there are a lot of parents who don't want their kids to live with a boyfriend or a girlfriend.

They're not at least engaged to and don't feel like they have a way to make

this argument in a manner that will resonate with their kids.

The one exception to this, of course, is very religious parents. Those kids have been raised

to associate sex exclusively with marriage, and while their kids can certainly disagree with their parents' belief,

many of them do agree. And so the conversation about shacking up would likely not even come up
