In part one, we looked into the upbringing of Roche Thoreau, born into a French-Canadian family,

soon of, uh, well, incest, and his mom believed he would be a man of God, one of them, huh?

And he would, um, he would be, I guess, just not, not necessarily in the way that she was thinking.

He joined the Seventh-day Adventists, but soon decided, you know what?

He's a rebel.

He lives by his own set of rules.

And so he found vulnerable people to march to the beat of his drum.

The thing was, he was playing wipeout on the drums and it just led to insanity.

This led to them all living in a commune where he acted as a

what's the monster, monster piece of shit, that's the one he would beat them, get them to beat each other, torture, sexual assault,

all the hits, all the evil things these monsters do.

While on the outside, however, you know, they were this charming little community who lived off the land,

these quaint people with kooky beliefs. That's what everybody was thinking.

However, that thinking would change when he ordered one of his cultists Guy Veer to beat a two-year-old boy half to death.

Then Roche, he did the other half.

And then the guy who did the beating, Guy Veer, he had his balls chopped off for good measure.

The authorities, they eventually discovered the entire affair.

And Roche went away for a whopping year and a bit.
