Summary

Jamie and Doug have been trying for baby #3, which has been going on for over 2 1/2 years. Their latest update included Jamie getting more labwork done, focusing on the couple's genetic profile, and seeing if they are carriers of any specific genes or traits that would have an effect on pregnancy. They went through this with their firstborn, and Jamie and Doug found out they both are carriers of a Biotinidase Deficiency, which has a 25% chance to pass on to their children. When Jamie mentioned that to the specialist, she gave a very serious warning as to what that would mean for the baby if that deficiency was passed on.
