research that surprised me not one bit and I will tell you why when I get to the end of it but here it is.

When it comes to career satisfaction, guess which factor matters more than any other.

It is not the nature of our work. It is not the money. It's the people, the people that we work with the person or the people or the people or the colleagues sitting next to you, they have the ability to make or break

how happy you are at work.

This is according to a study by census-wide. Respondents were asked what made them value their careers and

39% said it was the people they worked with that were the most important factor and

I got to say this is a lesson that I learned when I left

what was probably my most favorite job before the one I have now which was being an editor and a writer at Smart Money magazine,

I missed the work, but boy, oh boy, I missed my friends like crazy.
