Before we begin today's episode of Potterless,

I just wanted to give a brief apology slash correction

over something that happened in the last episode.

So David and I were talking specifically about the part

where the death eaters are terrorizing the people

around the Quidditch World Cup,

and they were flipping women upside down

so that their skirts were revealing what's underneath.

And David and I treated this as if it was just pancing

and we thought it was kind of immature and silly,

but what we didn't realize until it was pointed out to us

was that this could verge on something more sinister,

even verging on something such as sexual assault.

So it was probably just written since it is a children's book.

It was probably just written in a way that children would be like,

oh, that's kind of mean,

and adults could understand like,

oh, this could be a bit more problematic.

And David and I just missed it.

We didn't mean to trivialize something so serious.

We didn't mean to make light of it or act like it's not a real issue.

It just went over our heads and we,
