Summary

My guest this week is Jennifer Roach. We discuss her life growing up in an evangelical christian setting, losing her Father as a young woman, suffering sexual abuse at the hand of clergy at her church, the emotional scars and pain that left, her decision to go to divinity school, becoming an ordained Anglican Minister, and her decision to speak out about her abuser as well as the fallout of from all of it. She then tells us of an amazing series of events that led her to meet a member of the church, attend a sacrament meeting, meet the missionaries and ultimately become a Latter Day Saint. Jen is a brilliant student of scripture with a deep understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her faith is so inspiring. Her story teaches that even through unspeakable pain, God knows us and has a plan for each of us.
